About Me

Hi all! Now that I've been writing for awhile, you're probably wondering who in the world I am & why I sign things "  💞  K" when that's not in the blog title. I came up with this blog title because the word Belle means beauty. I want every girl who reads what I write to know that they are a beauties, too!   As for the K, it's the first letter of my name. For those of you that don't already know, I'll leave the guessing up to you.  😊 Another "fun fact" about me that some of my readers don't know about me, is that I have Cerebral Palsy, or CP for short. This comes in many forms and each form affects each person differently. So, if you find something on the web about CP, don't assume that every aspect affects me.  ☺️ I am currently a college student working on my associates of arts. The plan is to be a grad next year  🙌🏻 .  Fun fact: I was homeschooled all the way from kindergarten through high school. I graduated wi

The Scoop - Katie Leigh Interview

I'm so excited to share this throwback interview I did with Katie Leigh in August of 2017!   I am so excited I can finally reveal this "surprise" I've known about for less than 24 hours. I like to keep secrets, but this one is too exciting for aio fans not to share!   In 7 days is the Get in the Show finale event for Adventures in Odyssey. A huge thank you to Katie Leigh - Voice Actor, for taking the time for this. 🙌🏻. She wanted to share her thoughts on the finale event with YOU!  Here's what she had to say in response to my questions:  1. What are you most looking forward to about this Event and why?  I am looking forward to working/performing with he contestants and meeting their families as well the people coming out for the contest. I love meeting the fans. 2. If there was 1 thing you could tell people as to why they should/would want to be a part of this event, what would you say to them? I would say, these kids are working hard t

Real talk - Modesty

My thoughts over the past while. Weighing on my heart.  Modesty should be a privilege, not a chore. I know it's sometimes hard to wrap our minds around, but we are representing God's image if we're Christians. If we're doing that then we need to remember that our bodies represent Him, too.  When it comes to respecting our bodies modestly is a HUGE part of that. Choosing modesty over the latest "show it off" fashion isn't a sign of weakness, but of strength. It's proving not only to yourself but also to others that you have enough self respect to not show yourself off to the whole world.  Unfortunately, there isn't a one size fits all guide to modesty; but there are things that we need not make compromises on.  I encourage you to evaluate yourself and your convictions. Then live them out. Trust me. It might not be easy at first, but I know that it's 100% worth it.  💗K  Post via Words of A Belle Instagram  https://insta

Welcome!

You're probably wondering where the name came from for this blog, who the writer is, and why it was created. Welcome to Words of a Belle! I hope you engage in conversation here, & learn more about your walk with God! Secondly, let's talk about why this was created. I was noticing that social media puts so many messages in front of us that life can feel like it's one big comparison game. The goal of this blog & Instagram page is not to make you feel that you need to be continually comparing yourself to other people, but to give you truth to think about & possibly even apply it to your life. (That part is up to you, of course).  I'm just here to offer my opinion on my own experiences. 🌹K PS more about the writer will come. Stay tuned!
